A major milestone for lipstip and a proud moment for the Béarn tech ecosystem.
Last night, at the heart of Pau and the Béarn region, lipstip was honored with the Trophée du Meilleur Projet en Intelligence Artificielle during the 2025 edition of the Trophées e-Py. Our CTO and co-founder, Ghislain Demonda, took the stage to receive the award, presented by Jean-Marc Jouanine, representative of Teréga, partner of the AI category.
This award recognizes more than just a project. It celebrates a vision: a European, sovereign, and explainable AI(xAI) designed to support innovation in intellectual property. At lipstip, we’ve made it our mission to empower inventors, companies, and legal professionals by developing a deep-tech platform that brings transparency, speed, and trust to procedures like trademark applications, patent filings, and oppositions.
Our approach relies on lightweight, specialized AI models and structured knowledge graphs, built entirely in-house and grounded in explainable logic. It’s AI made in Europe, for European innovation. And we’re just getting started.
More Than an Award: A Shared Moment of Recognition
The E-PY Awards are a highlight for the entire Nouvelle-Aquitaine tech scene, showcasing the diversity and strength of innovation coming from the South-West of France. This year’s edition was no exception, with incredible projects across all categories, from agroecology to circular economy, digital inclusion, and sustainable tourism.
We’d like to extend our warmest congratulations to all the other finalists in the AI category. Being nominated alongside such inspiring initiatives was already a privilege. Winning this award only reinforces our belief that collaboration and shared ambition are what truly build an ecosystem.
